API Integration Specialist

TripStack is a fast growing B2B Travel Technology company based in downtown Toronto, whose vision is to change the way millions of people travel.

The TripStack technology is comprised of 2 products: EFOE – “Every Flight on Earth” and TripBuilder.

The EFOE product provides our customers with fast access to all of the worlds Low Cost Carriers (LCCs) that are not available via traditional distribution channels in a single API TripBuilder uses the EFOE fares and over 100M fares a day from traditional airlines to create “Virtual Interline” fares that have never existed before. These fares are often significantly cheaper than any other flights offered in the world.  This is an incredibly complex problem to solve, with one of the biggest data sets in any industry. 

Our customers are any companies in the world that sell flights.  These two products working together provide our customers with the ability to offer their customers unique flight content, at the lowest prices.

TripStack currently has 88 employees in Canada and India, with a plan to be at 197 employees by the end of 2019.

We are hiring an API Integration Specialist to join the TripStack Customer Experience Team. You will be a key member of the Customer Integration Team, working closely with the Sales and Product teams and report directly to the Director of Customer Experience. Your main tasks will include supporting customers who are integrating TripStack products, by providing any technical and business direction that they may require.

Responsibilities:

Support all new and existing customer product integrations

  • Develop, implement and review customer integration on-boarding and operational procedures and documentation.
  • Acting as a customer advocate with a focus on improving the overall experience.

  • Staying current on all product road maps and industry trends.
  • Presenting and demonstrating the value of TripStack products and services to prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

We're looking for a Senior Back-end Developer that can help us with planning, developing, testing, and deploying our API. This means:

  • Building technical solutions, developing new functionality and enhancements for our various users.
  •  Mentoring team members through design sessions, code reviews, and pair programming.
  • Contributing to the application architecture design to ensure our product is scalable, up-to-date, and robust.
  • Collaborating with other departments to find the best solutions for our customers and the business.
  • Helping plan, prioritize, and estimate projects and tasks.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • You are a well-versed C# developer, familiarity with ASP.NET and HTTP APIs is a great plus.
  • You can normalize a relational database (SQL) with the best of them.
  • You're familiar with task based asynchronous patterns in .NET, optimizing performance and throughput.
  • You can write testable and maintainable code, and you've been known to use TDD from time to time.

The role is focused on being an integral part and owning the sales process, pipeline management effort to maximize revenue potential.

The role also demands generation and development of new business opportunities and delivering an integrated approach to sales development framework.

This position requires a self-starter with some level of entrepreneurial flair.

Responsibilities:

  • Own your pipeline and part of prospect generation for your assigned markets.
  • Generate, develop and close sales opportunities - B2B.
  • Knowledge of travel and hospitality domain would be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of your assigned market, key players and cultures in selling software and services.
  • Define and drive the go – to market strategy for assigned territories.
  • Achieve the assigned sales target and build a healthy sales Pipeline.
  • Work with TripStack’s SLT team in drafting, reviewing and formalizing all commercial arrangements, agreements and contracts.

You’ll work with engineers to build novel solutions that give TripStack insight into our data and monitor our performance. You'll invent novel ways of collecting, analyzing and enabling the discovery of supplier data from a variety of real-time sources. You'll innovate and influence the direction of the latest TripStack technologies.

We are looking for a talented individual to join the Tripbuilder Data Science Team. The team’s job is to acquire travel pricing and other related data and assemble low cost highly desirable travel itineraries for Online Travel Agents.  At the same time, the Data Science team works closely with the DevOps, engineering, and content teams.

Desired Skills and Experience:

You are an energetic, passionate data scientist with a background in software engineering, who is fuelled by big challenges and disruptive technology. You are a quick study, with a strong drive for personal and professional development. Technical Lead

You’ll build novel solutions that give TripStack insight into our data and monitor our performance. You'll invent novel ways of collecting, analyzing and enabling the discovery of of supplier data from a variety of real-time sources. You'll innovate and influence the direction of the latest TripStack technologies.

A successful candidate will thrive in and help lead fast-paced environments that leverage agile planning techniques, encourage and reward creative design and intelligent risk taking, and find innovative ways to leverage cutting edge technology. And of course, a demonstrated passion for travel doesn’t hurt!

We are looking for an Experienced C# technical lead to join and lead our development team. The ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver, detail-oriented and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Master's and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in software development using C# .Net
