TripStack’s virtual interline platform powers ADR’s Fly&Visit Rome (www.flyandvisitrome.com) flight offering, providing travelers with greater connectivity for flights and the option to stop over in the city as part of their journey.

Utilizing Rome’s extensive global list of destinations, the platform offers travelers a range of flight options via Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and Rome Ciampino (CIA) Airports. These options include both full interline connectivity with full-service and low-cost carriers, as well as virtual interline itineraries combining carriers that offer cheaper fares and/or more convenient travel times.

This approach enables Fly&Visit Rome to offer exclusive content unavailable through other channels. For instance, a search for flights between Toronto (YYZ) and Istanbul (SAW) presents unique options with connections through Rome, enabling travelers to vary their length of stay from 2-6 hours to 2+ nights. These connections and price points are not accessible through other distribution channels.

All virtual interline bookings are backed by TripStack’s “Self-Connect Guarantee”, ensuring that any flight disruption in their journey will receive priority service as part of their booking.

Travelers booking through the site will also benefit from the Aeroporti di Roma’s QPass product, which grants access to the airport’s fast-track security channels, eliminating the need to wait in security lines, and offers exclusive discounts on airport shopping.

  • The partnership between TripStack and Aeroporti di Roma has enabled the launch of a new product that supports the airport and boosts tourism to Rome and Italy. This initiative will help establish Rome as a travel hub, encouraging both airlines and travelers to consider Rome for travel options, said Gabor Toth, CEO of TripStack.

  • The launch of the FlyandvisitRome.com platform aims to further promote the opportunity to visit our country – and Rome in particular - at an international level, intercepting flows of passengers who would not have come to Italy. It is another important project in our journey to extend our services throughout the customer's travel experience, said Emanuele Calà, Senior Vice President Innovation & Quality at Aeroporti di Roma (ADR).

TripStack’s partnership with Aeroporti di Roma showcases an innovative approach to enhancing travel connectivity, providing greater network access and improved customer choice at a lower cost to the traveler.
