TripStack attends Navitaire Customer Conference event as a speaker

Toronto, Canada, Jul 25, 2023

Tripstack is happy to share that we’ve had the opportunity to attend and present at the Navitaire Customer Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tripstack and Navitaire announced a strategic partnership in 2022 to bring Virtual Interlining (VI) directly to the airlines allowing for sales through TripStack’s White-Label platform.

TripStack was represented at the conference by Gabor Toth (CEO) and John Boguslawski (Co-Founder and CBDO) and was invited to speak about Virtual Interlining to the 60+ airline customers. Gabor Toth presented the “Myths and Truths of Virtual Interlining” which was aimed at demystifying Virtual Interlining and clearly laying out the value that VI can bring to the airlines in terms of network expansion, new sales and high ancillary revenue.

Highlights of the presentation include:

  • VI itineraries represent 5% to 7% of all flights sales in 2022 with demand increasing to 12% to 15% of all flights sold in 2026

  • VI itineraries provide significant savings for both domestic ($100+ USD) and international travelers ($200+ USD)

  • 46% of all global routes require a Virtual Interlining connection while 26% of the top 50,000 routes have a VI itinerary as the “best option”

  • 85% of all VI itineraries include at least one low-cost-carrier (LCC) while 66% of all VI itineraries include at least one full-service carrier (FSC)

  • Europe is the strongest VI market with 91% of all routes having viable VI itineraries (cheapest or best)

  • Disruption rates for VI itineraries are lower than traditional interline itineraries

The Navitaire Customer Conference was a great event, and we would like to thank the Navitaire team for the invite and look forward to the next conference in 2024.” - said John Boguslawski
